Calligraphy...
My Personal Pen Strokes...

How Ree's Writings Began...

In a feature article of the work of Ree's Writings, the Gwinnett Daily News said: "You can call it a gift, a skill or a talent,
but whatever you call it, calligraphy is not something just anyone can do well."

Little did I realize it, while growing up, but it appears that my gift, or skill or talent was there all along, waiting to be developed. I always enjoyed practicing my penmanship and compliments on my handwriting were always most meaningful.

In college, I was asked to write on or to paint Christmas ornaments. It was with great pride that I addressed my own wedding inviations, in calligraphy. Then I was asked to do the same for my sister and did over 700 invitations for that very special occasion.

Using the talents and the gifts that I have been blessed with, it might be said that I have been doing what I enjoy since childhood.
